First foal by Temple City born in Canada

TEMPLE CITY has sired his first foal when a bay filly was born at Andersons Farms, Ontario, Canada on 13 January. Bred by Spendthrift Farm, the filly is out of the Wild Again mare Goes Around, a half-sister to stakes winners Mystic Night and Wacky Becky.

TempleCity was a graded stakes winner and track record-setter by Dynaformer. When winning the Cougar II H. (G3) over multiple Grade 1 winner Richard's Kid, he established a new track record at Del Mar. He was also a runner-up, losing two races by a head in theHollywood Turf Cup (G1) and American H. (G2).

Temple City is the only son of Dynaformer standing in Kentucky and is out of a half-sister to leading sire Malibu Moon. In 2011 he retired to Spendthrift Farm and bred 136 mares during his first season at stud.

Temple City will stand in 2012 for a fee of $5,000 stands and nurses.
