Sheikh Mohammed's bloodstock advisor John Ferguson bought the Rathbarry Stud-offered filly for 500,000gns, with agent Peter Doyle, standing with Chris Wood - husband of Julie, who purchased the George Washington filly last night - the underbidder.

Ferguson has also been on themark for a Street Cry half-brother to Hardwicke Stakes scorer Zindabad (587), who set him back 200,000gns, and a close relation to Charlie Farnsbarns by Cape Cross (599), for whom he paid 350,000gns.

Elsewhere, agent Charlie Gordon-Watson went to 250,000gns to secure a Montjeu colt whose second dam Society Lady produced Kheleyf, Bint Allayl and Laa Rayb (610), and Sir Robert Ogden struck for a 210,000gns full-brother to Mac Love (605) and a 370,000gns Danehill Dancer colt out of Listed scorer Miss Honorine (582).
