A THRILLING Wiltshire County Supporting Greatwood Gold Cup fell the way of the Charlie Mann-trained Fine Parchment, who held on from a fast-finishing Tail Of The Bank.

The eight-year-old gelding is one of six Gradedwinners this season by former jumps champion sire Presenting, who is currently sitting in second on this year's list behind King's Theatre.

The Glenview Stud stallion could be set for another strong Cheltenham Festival this year with Denman and Dunguib heading for the Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle.

A £30,000 DBS Spring Sale purchase by P. Beaumont, Fine Parchment is the first foal out of the unplaced Run For Cover. She is a half-sister to Nigel Twiston-Davies' stalwart Fundamentalist, winner of the Royal & SunAlliance Novce Hurdle in 2004. In turn, their dam, Run For Shelter, is out of a half-sister to triple Queen MotherChampion Chase Badsworth Boy.

Run For Cover has a two-year-old filly by Dushyantor.

The Ladbrokes Supporting Greatwood Handicap Hurdle featured a striking and well-connected winner in Via Galilei.

The six-year-old son of Galileo was bred by Jim Bolger out of Manger Square, a Danehill sister to Listed winner Speirbhean who produced Bolger's unbeaten champion juvenile Teofilo when sent to Galileo.

Via Galilei, who was Listed-placed on the Flat, is bred on the same Galileo - Danehill cross as Frankel, Roderic O'Connor and this week's Meydan Listed winner Reem.
