Important Vichy
win for sister to Pride

THURSDAY'S meeting at Vichy in France played host to a winning display from the regally-bred Fill My Heart in the 1m4f maiden.

A win is particularly important for the three-year-old daughter of Peintre Celebre in that she is a sister to 2006 Champion Stakes winner Pride and half-sister to the dam of 1,000Guineas heroine Speciosa.

Bred by Sven Hanson's NP Bloodstock, which struck gold earlier this year through Reliable Man, Fill My Heart is out of Specificity, a Listed-winning Alleged half-sister to St Leger hero Touching Wood. She is trained on behalf of Salinity Stables by Alain de Royer-Dupre, who sent out Pride to win eight races including three at the top level.

Pride's first foal, a three-year-old Galileo colt named All By Myself, has run unplaced this year. She has a two-year-old colt by Dansili named Now's The Time and a yearling colt by Danehill Dancer.

Now 23-years-old, Specificity has a two-year-old filly by Teofilo named Fate and a yearling filly by Muhtathir.
