Listed race won by Dansili's Famous Name

FAMOUS NAME, a son of Dansili and the sire's top-rated performer this season by RPR ratings on 122, won the Listed Jockey Club of Turkey Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown with ease.

His previous form in Group company this season, notably when a head second in the Prix Du Jockey Club behind Vision D'Etat and when successful in the Group 3 Leopardstown 2,000 Guineas Trial, entitled him to be sent off favourite. His supporters were never really had a moment for concern.

As a two-year-old Famous Name finished second in the Killavullen Stakes-Gr3 behind Ballydoyle's Jupiter Pluvius. Thjis year's renewal, run on the same day as the Trigo Stakes, was won by the Aga Khan's Rayeni.

Bred by Juddmonte Farms, he is a half-brother to three winners over a mile, and his dam Fame At Last(Quest For Fame) was a one-time juvenile winner. She has a March born foal at foot by Zamindar.

Under his second dam can be found the superstar Australian racemare Maykbe Diva.
