THE first of four Group races at the Curragh on Sunday went to Fame And Glory, a fourth straight win of his season and the ninth of his career.

His dam, Gryada, won twice as a juvenile over 7f and a mile, and is out of the German 1,000 Guineas winner Grimpola, herself by Windwurf.

All eight of her foals have won, and they include the Listed-placed pair Grampian and Guaranda, and most recently Rain Forest who has won both of his starts this year.

Fame And Glorywas bought from Tattersalls' December Foal sale for 190,000gns by Tim Hyde.
