Dispersals head Arqana February catalogue

A DISPERSAL of stock from Haras de Bouquetot will take centre stage at the Arqana February Sale at Saint-Cloud on February 14.

The draft, which accounts for 48 of the 267-strong catalogue, is headed by two daughters of the 1996 Nunthorpe Stakes runner-up Eveningperformance in Dramatic Turn and Evening Encore. Stakesperformer Cute Connie, who is in foal to Naaqoos, is another high-profile Bouquetot mare catalogued.

A Le Fou yearling half-sister to Grand National winner Mon Mome and a yearling filly from the immediate family of Miko De Beauchene are the highlights of a reduction sale from Jean-Claude Laisis.

Other stand-out lots include Mawhiba, the dam of Group 3 winner Chaibia; Grade 3-winning hurdler Kruscyna, who is in foal to Saint Des Saints; the Group 1-placed Runaway, who is sold as a stallion prospect; and Diableneyev, the sire of Group 1-winning juvenile Helios Quercus.
