Mare in-foal to Papal Bull; first Irish-bred foal born by Medaaly

PAPAL BULL, who stands at Coolagown Stud, has had first 12 mares scanned in foal.

They include Enaya, a stakes-producing daughter of Caerleon,  Humble Fifteen, a stakes-placed half-sister to four stakes winners from the  family of Irish Derby winner Balanchine and Stage Call.

Other  mares in-foal include Fernlawn Hope, a half-sister to Lingfield  Winter Derby winner Sri Diamond, Morning Rise, a daughter of  leading broodmare sire Acatenango out of a half-sister to champion sire Monsun.

A dualGroup 2 winner, who was narrowly beaten by Duke of»  Marmalade in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes Group 1, Papal Bull  retired with a Timeform rating of 131, making him the third highest-rated son  of Montjeu.

He stands  for an advertised fee of €7,500.
