The 16-year-old son of Gone West formerly shuttled to Darley's New South Wales base in Australia, where his most celebrated offspring is the Group 1 Inglis Sires' Produce Stakes winner Camarilla.

He stood the past season in Australia for A$82,500 and is currently serving at Darley at Jonabell in Kentucky for $75,000.

As well as Quality Road, Elusive Quality is also the sire of Kentucky Derby winner Smarty Jones and Breeders' Cup Classic winner Raven's Pass.
