Evasive retired to Haras de Grandcamp in France

EVASIVE will take up stallion duties next year at the Haras de Grandcamp, where he will join fellow freshman sire Vision D’Etat. He will stand at fee of €3,000.

A son of Elusive Quality, Evasive’s biggest success came as a juvenile when winning the Group 3 Horris Hill Stakes in the
colours of his breeder Cheveley Park Stud.

He also finished sixth behind Sea The Stars in last year’s 2,000 Guineas and fourth to Mastercraftsman in the St James’s Palace Stakes. It was after that run he joined Godolphin.

Evasive is out of the Storm Cat mare Canda from a top Niarchos
family. Canda is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Moon Driver and a daughter of East Of The Moon, a champion three-year-old filly in France and half-sister – out of the great Miesque – to Kingmambo and Miesque’s Son.
