THE fourth foal of top-class German Oaks winner Elle Danzig, Elle Shadow, landed the Group 3 Belmondo Preis at Baden-Baden on Wednesday.

The daughter of Shamardal, who was second to Enora in the German Oaks on her previous start, is trained by Peter Schiergen for her owner-breeder Gestut Wittekindshof.

Elle Danzig's three previous foals all achieved black type in Listed company, with El Comodin and Elle Gala winning at that level and Elle Galante placed.

She also has a two-year-old by Hurricane Run named Elle Runner.
