Eight payouts possible on Bonus super Saturday

£80,000 could be won by owners in windfalls on Saturday, when eight Racing Post Yearling Bonus maidens are set to be held.

Horses eligible for the bonus scheme could ensure their owners £10,000 on top of prize-money if they win one of the races.

Newbury features three bonus maidens: the 1m3f contest for three-year-olds at 4.15 and divisions one and two of the 1m maiden for three-year-olds at 4.50 and 5.25.

Ripon's 5f maiden auction fillies stakes over 5f at 4.10 and the 1m1½f three-year-old maiden at 4.45 at the same track are also bonus races.

At Doncaster, the 5f juvenile maiden at 5.10 is a bonus race, as are the 1m3½f at Haydock at 5.00 and the 1m three-year-old maiden at Naas at 2.05.

All nine Yearling Bonus races run in Britain so far this year have been won by eligible horses.
