First foal for
Confidential Lady

CONFIDENTIAL Lady, who gave trainer Sir Mark Prescott his initial taste of Classic success in the Prix de Diane in 2006, foaledher first offspring, a filly by Medicean, at
Cheveley Park Stud in Newmarket at the weekend.

The daughter of Singspiel, who also finished runner up to Speciosa in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, is said to be doing well and is now booked to go to Azamour.

Cheveley Park's Echelon also gave birth to her first foal, a filly by Galileo, on Friday. During her racing career with Sir Michael Stoute, Echelon scored six times at Group level including when landing a coveted Group 1 success in the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown in 2007.

Chris Richardson, managing director of Cheveley Park Stud, said: "Both Confidential Lady and Echelon are doing fine as first time mothers and their foals are in good shape.

"In addition to them, Confidante, the dam of Confidential Lady, has recently produced a filly by Galileo and will be going back to Singspiel."
