first winner of a Racing Post Yearling Bonus.

The first £10,000 payout was almost landed on Sunday when the Laurence Mulvany-owned Tough As Nails was first past the post in the juvenile maiden at the Curragh. However, the son of Dark Angel was demoted due to interference and the race awarded to the ineligible Whip Rule. Tough As Nails' connections will be hoping for betterluck tonight when they send out Battleroftheboyne, a son of Majestic Missile who cost €6,000.

The race also features the first runners for Coolmore inmates Dylan Thomas and Strategic Prince. Multiple Group 1 winner Dylan Thomas is responsible for Snowflake Dancer, a Jim Bolger-trained colt from the family of top-class sprinter Kistena. The youngster, who carries the colours of June Judd, was knocked down to his trainer for €11,000 at last year's Goffs Orby Sale.

Group 2 winner Strategic Prince is represented by the filly Exactness, a half-sister to multiple winner Elusive Ronnie who cost trainer Ken Condon 3,700gns.
