GRADE 1-winning sprinter D'Wildcat has been purchased by the Louisiana Stallion Station, where he will stand from next year having spent the last seven seasons at Vinery in Florida.

A son of Forest Wildcat, D'Wildcat won three Graded races including the Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash at the
highest level.

D'Wildcat originally retired to Windfields Farm in Canada and his oldest crop are seven years old. He is the sire of 24 stakes performers of more than $11.5 million.

The highlight of D'Wildcat's stud career to date is D'Funnybone, the winner of five Grade 2 contests including easy scores in the Saratoga Special and Futurity Stakes at two.

"We are pleased to offer D'Wildcat to breeders in Louisiana and throughout the southwest region in 2013," said Carrol Castille of Louisiana Stallion Station.

"He is from the influential Storm Cat line and had a ton of speed on the racetrack, and he has passed that on to his runners. He is a perfect fit for our region, and he will be attractively priced for this market."
