Dubawi filly a first foal for White Moonstone

UNBEATEN Fillies' Mile heroine White Moonstone produced her first foal over the weekend for her owner Sheikh Mohammed's Darley breeding operation.

The new arrival is a filly by Dubawi, the sire of nine Group or Grade 1 winners including Lucky Nine, who landed the Chairman's Sprint Prize in Hong Kong on Sunday.

White Moonstone's next mating will be with another top Darley stallion in Shamardal.

White Moonstone, a daughter of Dynaformer from the family of Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Desert Stormer, won all of her four starts for Saeed Bin Suroor at two in 2010.

Pitched straight into Group company after winning on her debut at Ascot, she won the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes, the Group 2 May Hill Stakes and the Group 1 Fillies' Mile, in which she beat the high-class pair Together and Theyskens' Theory.

White Moonstone was ruled out of the 1,000 Guineas after pulling up stiff in work before the big race, and never ran again.
