First stakes winner
for Whipper

SUNDAY'S afternoon action at Chantilly saw Whipper become the sixth freshman stallion to sire a stakes winner when Dolled Up won the Group 3 Prix du Bois.

Although sent off at 12/1, Dolled Up won the 5f event impressively, quickening up the rails under Olivier Peslier to scoreby a length from Chantilly Creme. She is trained by Robert Collet, who also handled Whipper to win three Group 1 races.

Bred by Mesnil Investments in Ireland, the May-foaled Dolled Up is out of the winning Law Society mare Belle De Cadix and a half-sister to five winners headed by Listed scorer Zeiting.

Dolled Up is one of two winners in Europe by Whipper, who stands at Ballylinch Stud for €12,000.
