Air Chief Marshal in DBS November sale catalogue

THIS season's Group 3 Minstrel Stakes winner Air Chief Marshal features among the entries for the horses in training part of the DBS November sale.

A Danehill Dancer brother to Misu Bond, Air Chief Marshal also finished second to Alfred Nobel in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at two last year.

He is among half a dozen entries from his trainer Aidan O'Brien's Ballydoyle Stables in the sale. The consignment also includes August's Royal Whip Stakes runner-up Dixie Music.

The draft from Darley includes last season's November Handicap winner Charm School. A trio from the Aga Khan Studs includes siblings to smart hurdlers Barizan and Dabiroun.

Barizan was sold to Evan Williams for £26,000 at Doncaster in 2008 and won last season's Punchestown champion four-year-old hurdle for the trainer.

Some 680 lots have been catalogued for the sale, which takes place from November 3 to 5, starting with one day of yearlings - many eligible for the RacingPost Yearling Bonus scheme - and then two days of horses in training.

DBS managing director Henry Beeby said: "This year's sale has been boosted by its amalgamation with the Goffs horses in training sale, which has resulted in significant drafts from a number of leading Irish trainers.

"Graduates of both sections of this sale have been winning at the highest level this year and we are confident that this will help to produce a lively trade for the qualitycatalogue that we have compiled in 2010."
