Wood Ditton winner from final Diesis crop

WOODDitton Stakes winner Diescentric is one of two colts from the final crop of Diesis, who died in 2006.

The three-year-old was a $55,000 purchase at Keeneland as a yearling by the Axom partnership's buying team of Axom racing manager Dan Downie, Elite Racing club's racing manager Matthew Budden, and Steve Brown, husband and assistant trainer to Julie Camacho.

He is a half-brother to two winners - Caona, winner of a 7f nursery and Sharplaw Autumn, who took a three-year-old maiden over a mile.

Diescentric's dam, Hawzah, is an unraced half-sister to Oratorio and a sister to the useful performer Fahim. He was sent by his owners, the Axom Partnerhip (XVIII), to be trained by Henry Cecil, who trained Diesis.

The Axom Partnership have fifteen horses under their ownership, and they include the useful jumpers Ouzbeck and Bouggler.
