Arcano: His 2012 fee remains unchanged at €6,000

Derrinstown Stud announces fees for 2012

THIS WEEK has seen a number of studs announce their stallion fees for the 2012 breeding season, with the latest being Derrinstown Stud.

As has been the case with a majority of farms, its fees are generally unchanged for next year, with only two changes.

Two stallions have had their fees reduced by €1,000 with Alhaarth now standing for €4,000 and Elnadim standing at €5,000.

Arcano, theGroup 1-winning son of Oasis Dream, who is entering his second season at Derrinstown, remains unchanged at €6,000.

Haatef, whose first crops of yearlings have averaged 22,143gns this year, will stay at €4,000.

Another sire who had his first crop of yearlings go through the ring this year was Tamayuz, selling for an average of 54,198gns. His fee stays at €15,000, a fee that has been unchanged since he entered stud in 2009.

Intikhab, sire ofthe top-class fillies Snow Fairy and Red Evie, will also remain unchanged at €5,500.
