DBS December Sale catalogue published

THE DBS December Sale two-day catalogue of 460 lots has been published and includes horse-in-training, mares, foals and yearlings.The sale takes place on December 17-18.

The horses offered in training include the bumper winners Quwetwo and Appeal Denied as well as Priors Coppice who has been placed in two bumper starts.

A number of irish point-to-point winners are also due to be offered including Vintage Oak, the impressive three length winner of his only point-to-point at Affane last month, the dual winner Ifandbutwhy, Timeoutgaffer, a son of Presenting who won at Lingstown by 15 lengths,and  Ballynalty Storm a maiden winner at Kirkistown.

Ecurie Etienne Leenders consign a draft of horses with form gained in France headlined by Quirata who has won four races on the Flat.

The Shadwell consignment includes Munsef who won the Listed Godolphin Stakes at Newmarket and was placed in the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes. He is rated 103 on the Flat and is a brother to a Listed winner over hurdles.

Darley's draft of over 20 horses contains World Time, who was a recent winner and is by Dalakhani out of a Group 1-placed mare, an Elusive Quality half-brother to the Group 2-winning Land Of Dreams and an unraced Royal Applause half-sister to the multiple Grade 1-winning Ashkal Way.

Freemason Lodge Stables consign Gulf Express as part of a large draft from Rabbah Bloodstock. He is rated 108 and was a recent winner at Goodwood whilst the draft also includes an unraced Galileo colt out of a sister to Best of The Bests.

The sale also features mares covered by some exciting young sires such as Avonbridge, Byron, Libretist, Proclamation and Shiroco, as well as foals and yearlings by Compton Place, Elusive City, Royal Applause, Sleeping Indian,Starcraft, Trade Fair and Val Royal.
