Solemia: Arc winner is among 25 top-flight winners to visit Dubawi in 2013

Darley roster welcomes stellar books for 2013

CLASSIC sire Dubawi is set to cover 25 Group 1 winners and 18 Group 1 producers over the coming season, including Land Of Dreams, the dam of top sprinter Dream Ahead.

The daughter of Cadeaux Genereux will be joined by Summertime Legacy, the dam of Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Mandaean, and Shawanda, an Aga Khan-bred mare bought by Darley whose 2009 produce Encke landed last year's St Leger.

Fellow Classic winners Kazzia and Blue Bunting have been booked to Dubawi this season, while last year's Arc heroine Solemia and Prix de l'Opera winner Nahrain are also set to visit the son of Dubai Millenium.

Express Way, the dam of Darley's freshman sire Rio De La Plata, is another name among the line-up.

New Approach, last year's leading first season sire by earnings, has a book of 14 Group 1 winners and nine top-flight producers this season.

Sant Elena is one of the nine, her 2010 produce going on to become the unbeaten juvenile and future Darley stallion Reckless Abandon.

The Aga Khan's outstanding broodmare Zarkasha, dam of undefeated Arc heroine Zarkava, will also be making the trip to Newmarket, as will Motivator's dam Out West and Group 1 Fillies' Mile winner Lyric Of Light.

Another Darley sophomore, Raven's Pass, enjoyed stakes-winning start to his stallion career courtesy of Group 2 Royal Lodge winner Steeler, and last week collected a Listed title following victory by his daughter Lovely Pass in the UAE 1,000 Guineas.

This year the son of Elusive Quality's book includes seven Group 1 winners, and the same number again in Group 1 producers including Porto Roca, the dam of Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso.

Green Minstrel and Dolores, the dams of Rosdhu Queen and Duncan respectively, have also been booked to the Breeders' Cup winner.

World champion sprinter and first northern-hemisphere season sire Sepoy will be visited by a number of proven producers including Demerger, the dam of Nunthorpe winner Sole Power, and Easy To Imagine, whose son Tangerine Trees landed the Prix de l'Abbaye.

Fellow Australian-bred Helmet also stands his first northern-hemisphere season in 2013, from Darley's Irish base Kildangan Stud. The triple Group 1 winner will be visited by Grade 1 EP Taylor Stakes heroine Folk Opera, while a second generation take on the nick which produced Margot Did, by Helmet's sire Exceed And Excel, will also be tested with her dam Special Dancer another booking.

Another Kildangan resident, Shamardal, is continuing to forge as successful career off the track as during his days in training. Last year alone the dual French Classic winner sired ten individual Group winners, with three scoring at the top level - doubling his Group 1 produce tally.

Having already produced a dual French Classic winner himself in Lope De Vega, this year will see Shamardal cover the dam of St Leger victor Sixties Icon, Love Divine, while Fillies' Mile winner White Moonstone is one of 12 Group 1 winners among his book this season.

Other high-profile names to visit members of the Darley roster include the dams of Red Cadeaux, Dark Angel and Hearts Of Fire, all booked to Teofilo, while Group 1 winner Rock Opera returns to Exceed And Excel following the success of their 2009 meeting which produced Richmond Stakes scorer Heavy Metal.
