Dark Angel's first foal arrives at Yeomanstown

THE first foal by Middle Park Stakes winner Dark Angel was born at Yeomanstown Stud at the weekend.

The new arrival is a bay colt out of the Primo Dominie mare Hartstown House, a two-year-old winner on the track and dam of two winners to date.

A son of Acclamation, Dark Angel won four races, including the Mill Reef Stakes (Gr2) and theMiddle Park Stakes (Gr1), before being retired to stud at the end of his two-year-old campaign.

He stands at Morristown Lattin Stud, on the same property as Yeomanstown Stud. His fee for last year was €10,000, and in 2009 he will stand at €7,500.
