Four Star General sold to Czech stud

THE formerly Henry Cecil-trained Four Star General has been sold to stand at stud in the Czech Republic. The son of Danehill Dancer is closely related to Group 1-winning juvenile Spartacus and Group 2 winner Johan Cruyff, both by Danehill who also retired to stud.

Four Star General started his racing career in the ownership of John Magnier and trained by Aidan O'Brien, running eight times at two without winning and placing three times in maiden company. He reappeared for owner Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan last year as a four-year-old, but was unplaced in both starts.
