Danehill Dancer colt makes 220,000gns

A DANEHILL Dancer colt out of Cherry Hinton Stakes winner Spinola became the ninth foal to break six-figures during the final day of the Tattersalls December Foal Sale when knocked down for 220,000gns to Felipe Hinojosa's Yeguada de Milagro.

The colt was the subject of a foal share between Yeguada de Milagro and Balmerino Bloodstock.

An Authorized half-sister to this season's Group 3 winner Oh Goodness Me - who is lot 1390 at next week's Mares Sale - later sold from Crimbourne Stud for 170,000gns to Patrick Cooper of the BBA Ireland.

"We tried very hard to find anice filly in Book 1 so I'm pleased to have got this one eventually," said Cooper. "She won't be coming back as a yearling but has been bought for a client to join Ralph Beckett when the time comes."

Her dam, the Listed-placed Coyote, was also due to be offered next week but is likely to be withdrawn after being accepted as a first year mate for Sea The Stars.
