Reliable Man dam in foal to Derby hero Sir Percy

ON FAIR STAGE, the dam of Sunday's Prix du Jockey Club winner Reliable Man, is in foal to Derby hero Sir Percy.

A resultant foal would be bred along similar lines to Reliable Man, because Reliable Man's sire Dalakhani is a son of Darshaan, as is Sir Percy's sire Mark Of Esteem.

On Fair Stage, a daughter of Sadler's Wells, is owned by Sven Hanson, who raced her dam Fair Salinia to win the Oaks, Irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks.

On Fair Stage won the Listed Ruby Stakes at Tralee and her previous foals include Listed scorer Gale Force and high-class chaser French Opera.

She also has a two-year-old filly by Oasis Dream called Oh Lady Be Good and a filly foal by Lawman.

Sir Percy's first crop are two-year-olds and from two runners in Britain and Ireland he has had a winner [Percy Jackson] and a placed horse [Yammos].

The stallion stands at Lanwades Stud in Newmarket at a fee of £6,000.
