Conduit sold to stand at Big Red Farm in Japan

KING George winner Conduit has been acquired to stand at Shigeyuki Okada's Big Red Farm in Japan next season.

However, the four-year-old son of Dalakhani will carry the colours of his breeder Ballymacoll Stud when he defends his title in next weekend's Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita. He also holds an entry in the Japan Cup at Tokyo next month.

As well as the King George, in which he led home a 1-2-3 for trainer Sir Michael Stoute, Conduit won last year's Breeders' Cup Turf and St Leger. To date, he has won six of 13 starts and over £2.1m in earnings.

A stud fee will be decided at a later date for the three-parts brother to Hard Top, who will stand alongside Dubai World Cup winner Roses In May and Dubai Sheema Classic winner Stay Gold at Big Red Farm. Ballymacoll will not be retaining any breeding rights.
