Three yearling bonus payouts at Haydock

TUESDAY'S meeting at Haydock saw quickfire yearling bonus payouts to the winners of the each of the first three races onthe card, with bonuses totaling £30,000.

The EBF Racing UK £20 Per Month Maiden Stakes went to Scantily Clad, a daughter of Acclamation bred by Rathbarry Stud and owned by John Fretwell. The filly sold for £19,500 at the St Leger Yearling sale.

Division one of the EBF Northern Racing Club 30th Year Maiden Stakes was won by Cruiser, an Oasis Dream colt bred by The Hill Stud and owned by C Edginton. He cost 70,000gns from Book 1 at the Tattersalls October Yearling sale, and is out of Good Girl, who took the Listed Hilary Needler Trophy as a juvenile.

A son of the deceased Ishiguru took division two, Gentle Lord, trained by Tom Dascombe. The colt, bred at Tweenhills Stud, was sold as a foal for 6,000gns at Tattersalls December, before making £32,000 at the St Leger Yearling sale, with Tweenhills' David Redvers acting as the agent.
