World record priced mare to visit Galileo

MILANOVA, who set a world sales record for a mare when selling to Coolmore for A$5m at the June Inglis Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale in Australia, will make a trip to Ireland to be covered by Galileo next year.

The Group 1-placed sister to Holy Roman Emperor, who was sold in foal to Encosta De Lago, will be joined on the January flight to Ireland byIrish 1,000 Guineas heroine Hula Angel and Haradasun's half-sister Hveger.

"It was decided that because of her international pedigree she would be better off travelling to Ireland and being covered by Galileo," Michael Kirwan, Coolmore's Australian manager, told The Sydney Morning Herald.
