Consolidator sires
first winner

GRADE 1 winner Consolidator sired his first winner on Sunday when Solid Lunar won her debut, a 4 1/2f maiden special weight, at Lone Star Park in Texas.

The first foal out of the stakes winner Lunargal, she runs in the colours of her breeders Heiligbrodt Racing Stable and is trained by Steve Asmussen. She represents the same connections who provided Offlee Wild, a stud-mate of Consolidator at Darley at Jonabell, with his first winner, Heavenville, just under two weeks ago.

Solid Lunar is the third runner for Consolidator, who won three of ten starts for D. Wayne Lukas including the Grade 1 Lane's End Breeders' Futurity. The son of Storm Cat has 102 two-year-olds in his first crop and stands at Darley at Jonabell in Kentucky for $15,000.
