First winner for German stallion Soldier Hollow

SOLDIER HOLLOW sired a first winner at Hanover on Wednesday when Dabbitse took a 6f contest.

Trained by Christian Zschache, two-year-old colt Dabbitse is out of the Lando mare Djidda, making him a half-brother to Dextera (Royal Dragon), a restricted race winner at TurfParadise in America, and to Listed-placed pair Devilish Lips (Konigstiger) and Dragon Days (Royal Dragon).

An 11-year-old son of In The Wings, Soldier Hollow stands at Gestüt Röttgen in Germany. He was trained by Peter Schiergen and won every year from the age of two to seven.

He scored a the top level on four occasions in Germany and in Italy, landing the Premio Roma and Dallmayr-Preis twice each.

His dam, Island Race by Common Grounds, also produced German Group 3 winner Day Walk.
