Two wildcards added to Cheltenham sale

BRIGHTWELLS has accepted two further wildcard entries for its Cheltenham sale on December 10. The sale includes 61 breeze-up entries with 15 horses in training also offered.

The latest additions are Masterful Act, a three-year-old by Pleasantly Perfect and a half-brother to two black-type performers in the US. Trained by Ed Vaughan, he was a nine-length winner of an all-weather maiden over 1m6f at Wolverhampton on his sixth start on November 26.

He will be joined by Close House, who was second by a nose in a 1m6f junior bumper at Huntingdon on November 10, his only start. The three-year-old is by Generous.

The breeze-up takes place at 8.30am with the auction commencing at 5.30pm after racing.
