Lane's End increases stud fee for Candy Ride

WILL FARISH'S Lane's End Farm in Kentucky has rewarded its stallion Candy Ride for siring three new individual Grade 1 winners in 2010 with a 60 per cent stud fee increase for 2011.

The son of Ride The Rails, whose trio of top-flight winners this year are El Brujo, Misremembered and Sidney's Candy, will stand in 2011 at $40,000, up from $25,000 this year.

Lane's End has also increased the stud fees for City Zip and Mineshaft.

A. P. Indy, twice the leading sire in North America, has had his fee left unchanged from 2010, at $150,000.

After Market, Aragorn, Langfuhr, Pleasantly Perfect and War Pass have all had their fees cut by between 14 and 40 per cent.
