Half-sister to Antonius Pius born in Kentucky

CATCHASCATCHCAN, winner of the 1998 Yorkshire Oaks and later dam of the Breeders' Cup Mile runner-up Antonius Pius, produced her sixth foal at Castleton Lyons Farm in Kentucky on Monday, a filly by Mr Greeley.

The daughter of Pursuit Of Love, who is owned by Castleton Lyonsand Kilboy Estate, is scheduled to visit Dynaformer.

Following an unbeaten racing career which yielded wins in the Yorkshire and Lancashire Oaks for Lord Howard de Walden, Catchascatchcan was purchased by Lyons Demesne for $4,700,000 at the 2000 Keeneland November Sale carrying Antonius Pius.

Sold for $1.5m as a yearling to Demi O'Byrne, Antonius Pius went on to win the Railway Stakes at two and finish in the frame in three Group/Grade 1 events at three. The son ofDanzig stands at Coolmore for €5,000 and his first crop will race this year.
