Amadeus Wolf: sire of nine winners in Britain and Ireland

Amadeus Wolf adds to his tally at Ascot

FIRST-SEASON sire Amadeus Wolf added to his tally at Ascot on Friday when Caledonian Spring took the 7f juvenile maiden to land a Racing Post yearling Bonus.

He is the ninth individual winner by his sire in Britain and Ireland. A member of the Irish National Stud roster, Amadeus Wolf has also had a winners in Sweden and Italy. He stands for €6,000.

Caledonian Spring is trained by Paul D'Arcy and was having his fourth start having finished mid-division in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. He is the first foal of the Mark Of Esteem mare Mathuna, a winning juvenile in France.
