Cactus Ridge to stand at Calumet Farm in 2012

GRADED stakes winner Cactus Ridge, who was undefeated in four starts as a two-year-old, will stand the 2012 breeding season at Calumet Farm.

He has stood at Vinery Stud in Kentucky for the past two seasons and before that he spent six years at Walmac Farm.

The 11-year-old son of Hennessy, who was bred and raced by Toby Keith's Dream Walkin' Farms, entered stud in 2004 and to date has sired 13 stakes winners, 38 stakes horses in five crops to race. His leading lights include the Canadian Champion Hollywood Hit, Grade 1-winner Hot Cha Cha and the multiple 2011 stakes winner Peyote Patty.

Cactus Ridge's fee for 2012 will be $5,000 live foal.
