Brightwells May sale to include a select session

BRIGHTWELLS' sale at Cheltenham on May 11 is to include a select evening session following the success of its recent April auction that saw 11 horses sold between the £100,000 and £250,000 marks with an average price of £63,482.

Matt Mitchell, head of Brightwells Bloodstock, said "The strength and depth of the April Sale has highlighted the demand for the very best and many of our clients still have orders to fill with us. This concept will assist owners in attending with their trainers and agents and has received a positive response."

All horses entered will be sold subject to pre-sale veterinary examination, a policy which Brightwells operates for all horses with form. "With the quality of horses we are selling it is important to give confidence to our buyers and this system is tried and tested," Mitchell said.

The sale will start at 3.00pm with 120 lots catalogued and spaces have been made available for wild card entries in both sections. The select session will kick in from lot 90 onwards.
