Brightwells issues catalogue for April sale

BRIGHTWELLS has released the catalogue for its Cheltenham April sale on Wednesday 18th.

The sale,which will be held in the Centaur centre after racing, has seen some decent types go through the ring in recent years including Peddlers Cross, Realt Dubh, Invictus and Mount Benbulben.

The sale is headed by the hugely exciting six-year-old Teelin Star, who has won both his starts in points unextended and by a distance. He holds an entry in the Racing Post Champion Point-to-Point Flat Race at Fairyhouse next Monday.

Of the24 four-year-olds entered the eye catchers include Loughanmore Stud's Adamstown, a winner of his maiden at Maralin and Bally Beaufort, by Old Vic, a three-length winner at Lisronagh last month.

John Nallen offers two lots:Minella Fifty, a son of King's Theatre who won his point at Tralee and Old Kilcash, a 12-length winner of his maiden at the Horse & Jockey.

Bumper horses include Another Challenge, a four-year-old son of Milan who won at Thurles for Oliver McKeirnon and Tom Taaffe's Old Pride, a four-year-old son of Old Vic who was placed third in a Leopardstown bumper.
