Brightwells  breeze-up attracts 65 entries in May

BRIGHTWELLS has attracted 65 entries for its first two-year-old Flat breeze-up sale on Saturday, May 7, at Ascot after racing on Victoria Cup day.

All horses in the catalogue are eligible to run in the Brightwells £250,000 sales race over 6f at Ascot in September.

Lots will breeze at 10.30am at Ascot on the Saturday morning before racing. Video footage will be available on brightwells.com.

The sale will begin at 6pm in the racecourse enclosure, with facilities available including a champagne terrace overlooking the sales ring.

Leading breeze-up vendors including Bansha House, Mocklershill, Tally-Ho Stud, Yeomanstown Stud and Malcolm Bastard have entered two-year-olds for the sale.

Sires with progeny in the catalogue include Choisir, Green Desert, Holy Roman Emperor, Invincible Spirit, Lawman, Pivotal and Teofilo.

The catalogue is available to view at brightwells.com.

Matt Mitchell, head of Brightwells Bloodstock, said "We are delighted the vendors have supported this new sale with a quality catalogue of two-year olds.

"We believe that the format of selling after racing will prove attractive for existing owners as well as having thepotential to attract new clients into ownership."
