First French-bred King's Best foals arrive
A HALF-BROTHER to Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap winner Bribon is among the first recently born French-bred foals by King's Best.
The colt is out of the 15-year-old Arazi mare Rowat Arazi and was bred by Dario Hinjosa.
2,000 Guineas winner King's Best, who stands under the Darley banner, was transferred from Kildangan Stud to Haras du Logis in Normandy last year.
The best performers by the son of Kingmambo - who hails from the immediate family of Sea The Stars - include Group 1 winers Proclamation, King's Apostle and Creachadoir.
Creachadoir retires to Logis this year and Rowat Arazi is set to be covered by him this spring.
Logis has also welcomed a colt by King's Best out of My Pearly, a Sagamix half-sister to Group 1 Prix Ganay winner Execute, bred by Ecurie Kura. The dam returns to King's Best this year.
King's Best commands a fee of €15,000 at Logis this season.
