Juvenile winner for
AFTER running green on his first start, Bravo Echo, a son of Oasis Dream, proved that he had learnt from the experience when winning Division 1 of the EBF maiden at Leicester on Tuesday.
The Juddmonte home-bred is trained by John Gosden and is out of Bold Empress, a daughter of Diesis. She won once over 6f and finished fifth in both the Prix Marcel Boussac-Gr1and the Prix des Reservoirs-Gr3. She is out of The Minstrel mare Zaizafon, dam of the Dewhurst and 2,000 Guineas winner Zafonic and the Prix Morny runner-up Zamindar.
Oasis Dream sired his first Group 1 winner this autumn when Hamdan Al Maktoum's Naaqoos was successful in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere-Gr1. Earlier this summer, his son Aqlaam won the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. His daughter Visit, who holds a Breeders' Cup entry in the Filly & Mare Turf, is the winner of two Group 3 races, including the Princess Margaret as a juvenile, and finished third in Newmarket's Sun Chariot Stakes-Gr1.
