Rock Of Gibraltar
latest shuttler to Chile

ROCK Of Gibraltar will be on his travels again later this year when shuttling to Haras Don Alberto in Chile. The son of Danehill is the farm's second notable acquisition for 2011 following the Kentucky-based Bluegrass Cat.

Coolmore's prolific Group 1 winner has stood northern hemisphere seasons in Ireland and Japan. He has also been a regular shuttler to Coolmore's base in Australia, most recently standing for a fee of A$33,000.

Worldwide, he is the sire of 56 stakes winners including the top-class European runners Eagle Mountain, Mount Nelson and Varenar.

He is currently standing the northern hemisphere season at Coolmore in Ireland for €17,500.

In addition to Bluegrass Cat, Rock Of Gibraltar will join Coolmore Kentucky shuttler Fusaichi Pegasus as well as successful American sires Proud Citizen and Stormin Fever at Haras Don Alberto.
