Bargain son of One Cool Cat lands Brocklesby

BROCKLESBY STAKES winner He's So Cool showed himself a bargain buy when the son of One Cool Cat took the conditions race for juveniles at Doncaster on Saturday.

The colt, unsold at the DBS St Leger Festival Yearling sale, was aqcuired privately for just £2,000. He was bred by Crone Stud Farms Ltd and is trained by Bill Turner. His dam Love Ridot, though a maiden herself, is a half-sister to five winners, all of whom scored as juveniles.

They include Salsa Brava, who was second in the Cherry Hinton and Lowther Stakes at Group 2 lvel and third in the Listed Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
