Champs Elysees: the son of Danehill is out of star Juddmonte mare Hasili

First mares in foal to Champs Elysees

LAST year's Grade 1 Canadian International winner Champs Elysees has nine of his first ten mares covered in foal.

The son of Danehill and outstanding broodmare Hasili - dam of Dansili, Banks Hill, Intercontinental, Heat Haze and Cacique - retired to his owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah's Banstead Manor Stud at a fee of £10,000 this year after winning three Group 1 races, the Northern DancerTurf Stakes and Hollywood Turf Cup at five and the Canadian International at six.

The in-foal mares include Codename, a half-sister to Main Aim and Home Affairs, Bouvardia, a Listed-placed sister to Showcasing, Penang Cry, a half-sister to Harbinger, dual Listed winner Short Dance and Fleche D'Or, a half-sister to Rebecca Sharp.
