Banimpire wins the Royal Whip Stakes

The tough-running BANIMPIRE, a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor, won the Royal Whip Stakes (G2). It was a second Group 2 race success for the filly who was runner-up last time out in the Irish Oaks.

She is the third foal out of My Renee, who won at Listed level over 1m4f, and is a grand-daughter of Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) winner Detroit, the dam of Carnegie, who also won the Arc.

She really is something of a headline act for her Coolmore sire, who has had one other Group race winner so far, Sandslash, who won the Premio Carlo Chiesa (G3)). The son of Danehill who stood at €11,000 this spring, having initially retired to stud at a fee of €35,000
