RECESSSION Proof's victory in the totesport Trophy Hurdle capped an eye-catching sequence of victories at Newbury for notable flat families.
First race winner Stow is from the family of Slip Anchor, Aon Chase winner Noland isrelated to Bosra Sham and Hector Protector, and Game Spirit winner French Opera has dual Oaks winner Fair Salinia as his second dam.
Both French Opera and Recession Proof were bred by NP Bloodstock, the latter in partnership with Morton Bloodstock.
NP Bloodstock is the breeding name for Sven Hanson and his partner Karina. Hanson raced top mare Pride as well as Fair Salinia.
Recession Proof is a half-brother to Jockey Club Cup winner Capal Garmon and Group-placed Elite Guest, dam of Anglesey Stakes winner Amigoni and Listed winner Newton.
