Myboycharlie to
stand for £5,500

GROUP 1-winning two-year-old Myboycharlie will command a first year fee of £5,500 next season at the National Stud in Newmarket.

The son of Danetime, who is currently serving the southernhemisphere season at Vinery in Australia, will stand alongside Bahamian Bounty, whose fee is unchanged at £10,000.

Bahamian Bounty's July Cup-winning son Pastoral Pursuits has had his fee raised minimally to £5,000following a promising start to his stud career.

Cockney Rebel, however, has been reduced to £4,500.

"The National Stud has always believed in providing a service to British breeders by making top-quality, Group 1-winning stallions available at affordable fees, and our 2010 roster maintains this tradition," said Brian O'Rourke, managing director of the National Stud.

"We are particularly pleased to add Myboycharlie to theline-up for next year. As a two-year-old Group 1-winning grandson of Danehill, by a proven source of speed in Danetime, he will be a welcome addition to the UK stallion ranks, and we are very much looking forward to his arrival at the stud."
