Wannabe Grand filly foal in demand

A DAUGHTER of Cheveley Park Stakes winner Wannabe Grand, who was also second to Wince in the 1,000 Guineas, is the top-selling filly foal of the Tattersalls December Sale so far. The dark bay filly, who is from the first crop of Derby winner Authorized, was sold for 57,000gns out of the Castlebridge Consignment to Seasons Holidays.

The Danehill mare Wannabe Grand has produced eight other foals, with six winners from as many runners including Zetto Kirk who was Listed-placed in Japan. Foals by Authorized sold for €60,000 and €42,000 at Goffs last week.
