Arqana May breeze-up catalogue online now

THE catalogue for the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale at Saint-Cloud, held on Saturday May 9 and comprising 134 juveniles, is available online.

The two-year-olds will breeze on the racecourse's turf track from 10am on Friday May 8.

Lots on offer include a Siyouni half-brother to Group performer Myasun (lot 86), who is one of 14 juveniles consigned by Willie Browne's Mocklershill Stud, while Sherbourne Lodge Stables offer a Lope De Vega half-bother to Prix Robert Papin winner New Girlfriend (92). Yeomanstown Stud will consign a son of Medaglia D'Oro - the sire of Golden Slipper scorer Vancouver - who is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Morning Line (54).

Brendan Holland, who sold last year's dual Group 1 winner The Grey Gatsby at this sale for €120,000 in 2013, will be represented by 13 two-year-olds, including a Galileo colt out of Group 3 winner Kamarinskaya (59) and a son of Oasis Dream who is a half-brother to Coronation Stakes scorer Maids Causeway (132).

A number of top-class performers have graduated from this sale in recent years, including Poule d'Essai des Poulains winner Lucayan and Mshawish, who won the Grade 1 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap last month.
