Yesterday's leading buyer, Charlie Gordon-Watson, has picked up where he left off last night by going to €350,000 for the fourth lot in the ring.

The filly in question is a daughter of Monsun from a family with plenty going on: both her half-sisters, Northern Secret and Wild Wind, have won since the publication of the catalogue while her dam is a half-sister to Prix Marcel Boussac heroine Rumplestiltskin, dam of recent impressive juvenile winner Why.

"There is a lot going on in the family," said Gordon-Watson, who bought the filly on behalf of an undisclosed client. "You've got Wild Wind, Why and the third dam is Miesque. She is just a lovely filly and I thought I'd have to pay more."
